Ah, I don't recall if the Task Manager window was readable. Something tells me
that happened in version 12, although I honestly can't remember. Hmm…

My understanding is that the Task Manager window is readable. Usually, things
happen so quickly that it doesn't pop up for me. Are you on version 12.x?
what's your session format and what format are the files you're importing?

yeah, it’s weird, the task thing only happens on these sessions i imported
files too. Is there any way of working out what tasks it’s referring too, and
doing something about them.

In the Edit window, go to the Clips list. It'll be one of 2 tables in the Edit
window. If you bring up the Item Chooser with control-Option-i and type t a b
l, it should come up with two matches. If there's only one match, the tracks
list table, then you should click on the Show/Hide
ok. Slau. The thing is these are files i copied last night. I’d never imported
them before, The other thing that’s happening is that when I close the session
PT is saying there are some incomplete tasks and do I want to close anyway,
then if I hit yes, it then brings up a save dialogue box.

The steps you're following are correct for copying. The thing is, once you've
imported files the other way, by simply referencing them, they're always going
to be in the clip list and Pro Tools will complain if they can't be found. If
you've reimported the files with the copy command
Hey guys. I seem to be experiencing an issue when copying audio files into a
session in PT. The deal is that they do not seem to be copying themselves into
