Lenny only became Stable on Valentine's Day (14th Feb) so most likely
the docs have not been updated.
I've asked a similar question in another way earlier today, so just
waiting for a reply.

Hi,
I'm running Debain testing, with the p:d sources added, and I'm trying
to install jackd on my system.
For some reason it keeps telling me it needs to remove loads of
programs to install, including Gnome, which surely cannot be right.
I've searched around on the internet for a solution, but
-2.6.31-5-pure)
Can you help on this front?
Thanks again,
Loz

It's called jockey. I ended up just installing it with synaptic
package manager in the end (which is also missing from your release -
surely a useful addition?)

There was a beta of the livecd floating around on this list a while

Does anyone know any software for p:d that will allow me to do this?

The new version of Seq24 has been released.
Some of the new features are great.
Any chance of getting it included in p:d?

Subject: [seq24-users] [ANN] seq24 0.9.1 released
Hi,
I've already managed to sync Seq24 to Jack, so that playing Jack
starts the Seq24 sequencer. However, I can't seem to get Jack to sync
to my Electribe, either clocking the tempo or starting/stopping
whenever I start/stop on my Electribe.
Anyone got any ideas?
