Hello Folks, back again!
I'm trying to have labels display only when that "layer" is turned on
(visible). BUT my layers are actually rule based symbology and apply
only to selected records in the layer (as per the rules), (sub-layers?).
Under the Rendering tab for labels I find:

Hello all,
I am looking for a way to further protect the access to the stored
authentication credentials in the authentication manager.
As far as I can see, currently the master password is requested once per QGIS
session and then never again while QGIS remains open. What I am looking for is
Is the background map a streaming map such as open street map. It will load
different tile depending on the resolution that you are exporting it. If
your internet times out or you are exporting at a high DPI this can result
in the map not loading. Change your output resolution to 96 and see if
Hello all,
I am looking for a more protective setting for the authentication manager.
Currently, as far as I understand, the master password for the authentication
manager is requested once per QGIS session and is never requested again while
QGIS remains open.
Is there a way to change this
Before exporting your map to pdf, try change dpi value from 300 to 97.
Thereafter you can export

Hello!
I am trying to convert a map from my QGIS project into a PDF format but the
background of the map disappears. Does anyone have an idea how can I solve this
problem? Thanks!

Hi Christine,
yes that is moved to the profile folder you've found. It has similar
functions but also much more possibilities. You can work with different
profiles (English, German and so on) and if you want to start with a
complete new QGIS - just make a new profile. There is stored nearly
Buonasera,
avrei bisogno di un aiuto per formulare un'espressione che mi permetta di
modificare con il calcolatore di campi di Qgis il valore di un attributo.
Si tratta di un attributo numerico e i valori devono andare dal numero 3 a
N in maniera progressiva.
Spero che possiate aiutarmi.
Grazie
Dear QGIS community,
recently I was surprised in QGIS 3.16 and QGIS 3.18 by missing some menu
items. Solved this.
But while searching for the reason and a solution of the QGIS GUI behaviour
I checked for the folder '.qgis2' as a matter of routine - and couldn't find
it any more on my system.
Hi all,
I can't manage to see layer metadata when I go to Explorer panel -> WFS
-> -> right click on a layer -> Layer property. In the Layer
Property window, Identification section, Extent section and Access
section are all empty.
The server is QGIS Server 3.18. I've used QGIS Desktop 3.18
Hi Pat,
maybe it's not clear for me what is your issue.
I apologize if it could be obvious, but there's something you need to
consider about a vector GIS layer and thus a Shapefile.
Each feature of a Shapefile contains basically two type of information:
a geometry (point/line/polygon/...)
Fantastic, that worked!
Thanks to both of you!
All the best

Hi all
I'm rather new to QGIS and I have a question: I reinstalled QGIS (3.16
Hannover) and would now like to reproject a raster through the Raster ->
Projections -> Warp (reproject) tabs. However, apart from Raster
Calculator, Align Rasters..., and Georeferencer all the other sub-tabs

Hm, apparently it was. I guess this will fix itself once the package is
rebuilt on the next point release. Meanwhile use the nightly, which
depends on libzip4
