Hi,
This looks like a good bug report! I would do one. Have you tried making a

Hi,
Some file formats are simply read but not writable. If that is the case with

Hi,
Look like you could do that with a basic csv import. This tutorial is old but
gives you the general idea.

Hi,
You have various selection tools in the GUI. (yellow box Icon with an
arrow). If you use shift + left mouse click, you can add to the current
selection. I think it is Ctlt + left mouse click in some version of QGIS.

Hi,
Looks like you could need to learn Python... you can do all of that using the
QGIS python interface. I cannot help much with the python interface in Qgis (I
would need time that I cannot spare right now) I but could probably help
manipulate and join the csv files in python if needed.
Hi,
You will find that QGIS is an excellent product that can be used in a
professional environment. It is stable. I do not know XMap 7 pro
therefore I could not help you to see if this is a good replacement. It
would help to know exactly what you do with XMap 7 pro.

Hi,
I have not worked with the 3D in QGIS 3 but I did do some work with Qgis2treejs
a few years ago. As far as I know, you will not be able for visualise a dxf
like you would in a CAD. Qgis was, with that plugin more like a 2.5D where the
ground surface can be modelled with a raster surface
Hi,
Try changing the file format or creating a spatial index. Make sure you have

Hi,
Has anyone worked with ICESata HDF format with QGIS? I am trying to
import xyz data for land but data is very different than what I am used
to. If you have a work flow, please send it my way!
Thanks,

Hi,
r.in.bin is not available in the processing. Is there an EASY way to
import into QGIS a raw binary raster data set? According to

there was such a plugin in the past. If there is not an easy way, I

Hi,
This is what I would do.
Check if the problem in the lzw compression. My understanding is that lzw is

because my lidar DEM where being created using that command but the file were

Hi,
I am shooting from the hip as I don’t use the plugin. I imagine the plugin
creates its own temporary layer. I suspect the layer probably disappears when
the plugin is disabled? I imagine there is probably a setting in the plugin
that can help you decide where to save the data. Did you
Hi,
You could go with any of the submitted ideas (old city centre, town hall,
polygons centre...). You could also go with non overlapping point symbols (and
labels) depending on the scale of representation. It really depends on your
goal. At worst (best...) explain the methodology.
