Dear all
How can I save my qgis project or my shp.file layers to be opened by
ARC-GIS?
on other meaning I have prepared different layers by qgis and I want to
share these layers to my friend (ARC-GIS user), because he can not use qgis
but he is using ARC-GIS?

Dear Ahmed,
you can share your shape files (.shp, .shx, .dbf) simply giving the files
to your collegues. To share a QGIS project file with ArcGIS users is not
available. I have heard about QGIS plug-in to read an ArcGIS mxd.

Hi Phil,
if you are under a proxy you have to set a GDAL variable:
Settings --> Options --> System --> Environment --> Add a variable
GDAL_HTTPS_PROXY and put your proxy:port in "Value"
Hope helps,

now i need to convert these separated classification fill to bar for one
band rasters,How can I do that?
Reg
I'm looking for a way to insert continuous colour legend for a raster
layer. I managed to create discrete symbols with values along the bar, but
I would like to have a continuous bar with some values on the bar, similar
to the old plugin "One-Band Raster", that it doesn't work with the Qgis
version

Hi
I want to select a object in QGIS, then open a printcomposer and use a value
from the selected object.
Example:
Selected object from Layer 1: ogc_fid = 42, name = polygon123, value = 3
Text in printcomposer (as it should be): "The object polygon123 has the value 3"
Is there a way to do such
Hi,
Is your file CRS in degrees and your triangle made to 3 points? If so, make
the file in a layer that uses a CRS that uses meter, like a UTM zone 18, then
densify the geometry. This will add points along the line of the triangle.
There is a tool for that. Make sure the project CRS is the
Hi Martin,
Yes - you can use "Atlas print" for that. If you add an Atlas in the
print composer for the concerned layer, you get an automatic Atlas
action ("Set as Atlas feature for Atlas"). You can select an object in
the map or in the attribute table and open the corresponding feature in
the
