Well if anyone is able to spare the time and has the ability to write
such an emulator, I would help them pull together a business case for
financing the project (if indeed financial incentive will help it get
off the ground).

It´s mainly Gerhard´s project, but he will have every help he needs
from me. I met him and other guys from the old "KuEL"-Club in Vienna
yesterday and they will help, too.
As for the date: I am very flexible this summer, so beginning of June
is fine for me, too.

My last CRT SVGA monitor just died (HV transformer fried: no hope of
repair) and my current LCD monitor is unable to display the Q40/Q60
resolution (1024x512) properly (it apparently tries to interpolates
