I eventually was able to unbzip2 unrar... both WXQT2, DLLs and QL Tools downloaded from Jonathan Hudson's web site. WXQT2 starts OK, I have moved QLTOOLS from the NT directory to the directory where WXQT2 was installed but I did not manage to read a couple of HD QL disks. Only the . and ..

This can happen if the path name is typed in for a QXL.WIN as opposed to selecting it in the browser box. It is very fussy about the filename syntax and does not exactly do much to help you get it right. I ALWAYS get it wrong first time, curse, then remember it doesn't work the way intuition
