Just a quick comment - one of the reasons that the Quanta committee seemed to want the QL 2005 meeting down south was because they thought that Manchester was not capable of holding such a prestigious event. Well its now apparently good enough for the Labour Party Conference as they are

It is nice to know that Quanta are indeed planning on holding a big show in 2005 to celebrate 21 years of the QL. However, what a shame that it is to be held in Portsmouth.. I would have thought that QL 2005 should be held in Birmingham or Manchester - there are just as many nice venues there
