P.S. What does this have to do with the toaster??

I had a similar problem when I first set mine up, and
it had to do with my tcp.smtp file not correctly having
QMAILQUEUE=/var/qmail/bin/simscan
The way I understand it is that
simscan passes the mail through spamassassin and clamav. Check your
tcp.smtp file for the relevant
queue settings.
Hi, I was investigating DSPAM awhile ago, however due to a new install of the toaster, all my users were happy with the filtering, so I let it slide. Now they have come back with requests for more spam dectection so Im back on the bandwagon once again. Im impressed with DPSAMs reports, but can not
Thanks again to Nick and the people behind this great email solution. Two thumbs up :)Respectfully yours,Sandeil

Hi
thanks for your reply.
I got this problem too. It looks like an error in vpopmail package,
probably mysql related. Do ~vpopmail/bin/vdomaininfo and look at
users counters for yours domains. I got users: 2147483647 for
almost all my domains :(
you got it..

I solved this problem by correcting the entries in the database for the
filed user_count.
I found a lot of error (null vaules or simply wrong ones)..
now seems work correctly even by adding and removing users.
thanks a lot.

Hi, about my last post, yes, it is a fresh install. SpamAssassin ClamAV
work well on my other mail server (running older version of QmailToaster).
I do my test from another mail server and from a Hotmail account.
Packages are correctly installed:

I using simscan whith --perdomain

My simcontrol file look like this:

DomainKeys are per domain. The QmailToaster receives an e-mail signed
via DomainKeys, then QmailToaster will verify the DomainKeys.
If you want the QmailToaster to sign outgoing mail with DomainKeys,
then you should follow the instructions in

Yes, this server is not running latest version for now because it is
a large cluster server and I install latest version in a test

The old version of the QmailToaster does not do this for you.

Is this the only Reloaded message? Mine shows many, including

Yes. I think it's ok because if I try to do this on an non-root account, I
can see the outputted error:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]$ qmailctl cdb
tcprules: fatal: unable to create /etc/tcprules.d/tcp.smtp.tmp: access

chmod: changing permissions of `/etc/tcprules.d/tcp.smtp': Operation not
I think Erik nailed your problem in his previous post.
Good call, EE.

Hello,
I have the latest Qmail Toaster install. I just set it up last week.
I'm trying to get all **SPAM** mail (between the required score
(currently 6) and 12 (the threshold to delete)) to be placed in each
user's .Spam folder.
I tried modifying the mailfilter file in /etc/mail and it
the .qmail-default file isn't supposed to have that. This will break
rejection of non-existant users.

Hi all-
I'm setting up a new qmail-toaster box for a client (I'm a sendmail
refugee) and now that I've almost finished setting things up, I can't
receive e-mail! I've been transferring mail from the existing mailserver
through fetchmail, which worked fine. Just as I was ready to make the
switch,
Hmm. Should it be in the .qmail
file instead? Just trying to use sucessfully use one of these
mailfilter files to store the mail in the users Spam folder on the
server rather than send them an email with "**SPAM**" in the subject
and have to setup a client rule.
If there's another method,
This is one of those places where you have to come up with your own
solution. I believe you will have to create a .qmail file in each acct
owned by vpopmail:vchkpw that points to a maildrop spam mail filter.
This used to be a part of the QmailToaster setup, but has been removed
since it screwed

What are the permissions? I've seen these get messed up sometimes; they
should be owned by vpopmail:vchkpw
The best way to clear them would (at least this
