I hate to contradict Phil, but I think you want VMware Player 3. The latest version allows you to create VMs (where the previous versions only let you play them). You can use VMware Server ok, but you'd be restricted to a console window. The gui-ness of Player is much nicer. Be sure to install

Dear Madmac, If you haven't selected the ldapserver during os installation its not there but you can install later on also. yum -y install openldap-server this command will install openldap-server and other necessary packages for you. Internet connectivity is a must if you are installing using
