No backup - that would have made this process too easy!!No seriously, lucky this is a new install of qmail, so therefore wasnt densely populated. Would it be too much to trouble someone for some help as to what I will need to do to rebuild it?Is it possible to say just delete the vpopmail database or...?Thanks for the quick reply.Jake Vickers [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: jim dandy wrote: While trying to implement a spam solution as written about in another thread, I seem to have destroyed the MySQL on my toaster install. Re: [qmailtoaster] MySQL Problems
Unfortunately, the same problem cropped up again after running through your pointers. At this point I think a reinstall will be quicker than debugging the problem, fingers crossed. Ive saved copies of the corrupted databases, and the error messages, and will delve deeper into it should it appear again. Thanks for the help.Jake Vickers [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: jim dandy wrote: No backup - that would have made this process too easy!! Re: [qmailtoaster] Internet Network's IP is exposed
Hey Gab, I don't think you can supress that information. Off the bat, it is necessary that mail be tagged from source for proper spam detection. I also don't think you have anything to worry, as no one will be able to hack 192.168.100.1 Erik On 4/3/06, Gabriel Lai Yong Shern [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Hi all, I checked through the All Header Information, and found that every emails that are being sent out, did state the internal network's IP either from email server or client's pc. Re: [qmailtoaster] Fedora Core 5 installation issues
Thanks Mark, when receibed your e-mail the issue where solved. The packages with problems encountered where: 1) qmail-toaster 2) ezmlm-toaster The first where solved commenting the declaration of strerror function. The second, changing the cc config in the spec file, putting gcc instead of gcc32. Perhaps this help to upgrade the packages and allow them to compile and install correctly in FC5. Thanks again.
