So I nuked / removed everything in badmimetypes
and did qmailctl cdb
Is it okay to nuke badmimetypes?

The automated reply was using from: ITD_001/b...@bsp.gov.ph::
The line reads:
*** CHKUSER rejected sender: from ITD_001/b...@bsp.gov.ph::
etc : invalid sender address format ***

So I edited my tcp.smtp and added sender_nocheck=1

Restarted the machine to be sure.

but it's not a simple line in a file. You'll have to rebuild the
RPM. It's much easier to do what you did by turning off checking for
bad addresses. I think you'll find most of us have the
sender_nocheck=1.

Yes, you need to create the file
# vi /home/vpopmail/etc/defaultdomain
mydomain.com
enter your domain, only 1 domain, in one line
