Jeff, This can happen for several reason. 1) If you are on a mailing list and someone sends an email to you and the mailing list, there will be 2 emails. 2) If the message is queue on the server and the connection is interrupted before the client gets a reply to the quit command from the server

When you initially set up signconf.xml and put the wrapper in place, perl qmail-remote, all mail will be signed with the global key. If you've set up a key for tld and the account is in that tld it will be signed with that key. The only way to disable signing for a domain is to specify in signco
