It's even in the teens here. I have baseboards so its crazy expensive
so I use a space heater mostly in my room. It has a thermostat that I set
on 65 while sleeping but hardly runs. When I wake up, I turn it up while I
am getting dressed. I only run the heat in the living room while I am up

I agree Houston. It's a lot easier to get warm that it is to get
cool. Our summers aren't too hard here in Maryland but when it gets really
hot, I feel so drained and sick. The cold only makes me hurt but I can
still function. I could easily pass out from being
lolStacy, you funny valentine!!! You could never cramp my style. -tony
Welcome David!
What is reasonable and what they want are 2 different avenues too. Also depends where you live (rural vs urban) and if they are just an aide or have some training (like CNAs).
It seems $7/hour is appropriate. But here in Tucson ... NO ONE will work for less than $10 even
Thank you for sharing.

I find it easier to cool off than to warm up. Once I get cold, my body hurts
until the next day. I use to spend my day in a turtleneck shirt, sweater,
scarf, sitting by a fire, with the house heat set at 78. And still be cold. I
think humidity and drafts have a lot to do with it. Now that I
Greatwinter we're having huh Greg? A bit cooler here in Tucson but over 70. Love it!
Our screen door is open and I'm going in out. Here is what it looks like ... in around my home...

Yeah here on the show-me state the humidity also is a big factor! I too
wish to move down south, but family and my support system is good here and
it sounds pretty scarey to move somewhere else. Seems like attendant care
is not as good, nor the hospitals. There are a 'lot' of quads and
Greetings David. I hope to hear more interrogatives from you in the future.
I agree with Lori that what is fair is relative to where you are located. I, however, a pretty large fee for my PCAs and this is because they are on-call 24/7. Additionally, they are family and I am the sole benefactor

What do you All think about this e-mail? If it just another one of those scam fraud type e-mail that every one receives. If it is this very cruel joke, it will be about as bad as we receiving but e-mail saying that they have a cure for spinal cord injury.

talked 2 my brother and he's looking into moving 2 Ga. next yr anyway. So
I'll have support if that¹s where I end up. I got people in ft.
