I don't know if I am counted on the
list as one of the women who speak out or not. I do go through
spells when I speak more than others. This usually depends on the subject being
talked about and how many others are already discussing it. I don't see
the need to jump in if I think enough

Like they say there are 2 things that are usually not good to discuss religion and politics, there is just to much controversy about it...but SEX is okay coz most people like it and want it.. Even if some are deprived..like me.. Gina( there are other things but that came to mind first) Danny
Unfortunately, no, there is not. I have asked the list owner this question before and the answer was no.

Angie,
[and others]
I have been on this list since 1995 and we have had numerous discussions on religion. They, of course, got into very heated debates. Anything with controversy stirs up people's emotions as we just saw with the stem cell example. Politics discussions have come and gone
Over the years I've noticed that spouses respond to our paralysis by either
being 110% supportive or by checking out. That's tough. When I became paralyzed,
my husband checked out. He lives in the basement and I sometimes don't see him
for days. It took a long time to adjust to a situation I
I have. 6 years post and no physical contact at all. We still
live in the same house but it's only a matter of time before that comes to an
end.

Thanks, Lori. I appreciate the understanding, and agree with you
about the subject. I think sex probably isn't discussed here, (and
I know I'm fairly new to the list), cuz for the majority of us, (I'm guessing),
it's pointless to go get some. No payoff.

That be great Dan.
I'm not the email police but another thing is I'm
not interested in being a voyeur on personal notes between two members.
Lots of people leave due to the number of emails generated from the

whole list
I agree Dan,
As long as it's civil I don't see a problem with it.
Who better to talk about it with than other people in our situation and my opinion on topics has changed since my injury on certain topics because I look at life a lot different and whole lot clearer.
