How is your health? How is life in general? We've missed your cheery voice!

I was recently made aware that Medicare will only provide powered wheelchairs
which suit the person's needs

Hi Wheels,
Just take a look around at the scooters that have been sold in the last few
years. I just read about a lady on a Wal-Mart scooter shoplifting at their
store, and then using the store's scooter as her get-away-ride!

Hi Bill,
Very well said! As a single amputee I understand the need to have the right
chair under you both in the home and also outside. The Medicare language needs
to be made clear to everyone involved in power wheelchairs.

An excellent letter! You write exceptionally well Bill! Plus you've taken
action against an injustice instead of just taking it laying down and doing
nothing. I'm shaking your hand!

As you are used to using the chin control, you will probably never be satisfied
with the Peachtree. However, here is some information on it. I looked and
this is one of the conversations I had with an individual about Peachtree. It
may explain some things, however, it may be lacking.
Well-written Bill. The only thing I might suggest is you send it to your
Senators and your Representative.

You are right Steve, to a certain extent. Mapping senses both pressure and
heat and you may be tested over an hour or more to determine a base level,
with tolerances. The sensing pad is like a large checkerboard with a lot more
squares with sensors. Ask anyone who has been map'd if it

Hi...great letter...but...it all comes down to 'medically necessary'.
Medicare does not put into their equation quality of life, emotional well being

Hi Lori,
It's is stupid without a doubt from our perspective. But theirs is quite
different. Preventative care and medically necessary are not synonymous.
Preventative care helps stave off a possible future problem where medically
necessary deals with an existing issue.

Hey Dan T,
my mom had a tracphone was pretty good. You buy a phone card with so many
minutes on it at a store, punch in a cetain code and use the minutes. The
