So you took your leap of faith and discovered just how faithful you were.
Life's lessons are very powerful and taught you an experience in
traveling, and against all odds. It sounds like you did well, considering the
odds.
Knowledge is a very powerful tool and look at the knowledge you
Hi
I love reading your story. I to had a wheelchair problem and had to have my
chair repaired fast. A friend found what part I had to have and got the order
number for it. So I called the place that made my wheelchair and they were not
going to order the part because, they did believe my

a local garage or mechanical shop will do the work and may not charge

Get all your manuals, keep record of s/n's, model, electronics version, and

Hi Guys,
I've have a C500 Permobil with an RS seating system. I was wondering if
anyone on the list is currently using this unit,
(either RS seat or C500)? I am having difficulties with both, after a year
of use.
Don't let what you cannot do interfere with what you can do.

Anyone buy or find the little computer device the repair shops use to adjust your chair's computer?
I'd love to get one. I almost had one once when the repair guy left it in the room at the shop after he left, but I was honest. Now I wish I would have taken it.

I don't know what type of seating system I am using, but I am using a C3
50. I'm also having difficulty with my chair after only 3 1/2 months of
use. Unfortunately mine is intermittent problem.
Yesterday while I was out riding around my half mile loop, my Permobile just
simply up and stopped.
I was reading a little about Invacare having this "MK6i IR"
It can convert your chair's joystick into a remote control for your TV, DVD, etc. Even use it to move your mouse on your computer.
Anyone ever try this? It could be cool.

my Invacare did the same kind of thing but it would stay powered up but had to
be turned off and back on to reset it. Just last year after three years of
uncertainty I can now power down my own chair and started back up again. It's a
little black box not made by Invacare or supported by them as
I have had numerous repairs done: motors, electrical etc. This is my fourth
permobil and it just seems the quality has really gone downhill.
More importantly, I ordered this RS seating unit. I have been using it for a
year and since I have developed monumental lumbar problems. Perhaps it
What is RS seating?
I have extra chairs around - from eBay - just for spare parts. That has
come in handy a few times. My sons have swapped parts out for me.
