The Fhd-mod works for the x230, there is even a 13.3 inch version. It is
also possible to mod a x220 keyboard into an x230, i would suggest 230
for usb 3.0 and various other reasons:).
Also, its possible to install coreboot.

I crashed during boot due to power loss, many VMs now don't start. For
example:
qvm-start sys-usb
Produces this error:
Logical Volume "vm-sys-usb-root-snap" already exists in volume group
"qubes_dom0"
But this:
sudo lvremove qubes_dom0/vm-sys-usb-root-snap
Produces this error:

Hello list,
I installed Qubes 4.01 on a Lenovo P51 with Hybrid i7 Intel + NVidia
Quadro (chipset NV126) GPU.
I installed it with only the NVidia GPU activated (in BIOS) and it went
well, using the nouveau driver.
At first everything was OK, but as soon as I activate a Windows 7 VM

After having migrated all my VM's to fedora-29, I wanted to delete the old
fedora-28 template, but it fails:
$ qvm-remove fedora-28
This will completely remove the selected VM(s)...

Today I tried to change the xen configuration on a USB media. I tried to put in
BOOTX64.cfg line 'modprobe.blacklist=nouveau' and change also some options but
without any success because of .iso format file which has Write protection.
I got this information from here:

I haven't tried updating my other templates yet but performing a
"qubes-dom0-update" works properly as intended and is using updateVM properly

I’ve found it necessary sometimes to sudo fstrim -av from inside the VM in
order for the dom0 lvm thin provisioned volumes to return the unallocated space
back to the pool.
This doesn’t shrink the volume but it does tell the system that it doesn’t need
to store anything there for that VM
