I just tried --temp-basedir and I'm getting 312MiB. I don't know if that has something to do with it, or that this time I tried with a fresh instance, and last time I thought about checking the RAM after some time of normal browsing. Maybe it is like Abe mentioned and RAM incr
om the Manjaro repositories.

Unlike what Abe notes, I didn't notice any RAM increas
Sometimes if I use both firefox and qutebrowser at the same time (so I can
be logged into two gmail accounts at once for example), the RAM usage gets
high enough that swap starts being used (even though I have 8GB of ram).
This only happens if I have a lot of tabs open (especially if they're

First of all, I just discovered qutebrowser, and congratulations (and thanks)
for such a good piece of software.
I'm not really sure this is an issue, but I thought I rather say something than
not: I have the feeling that for a minimalistic browser, it uses too much RAM.
