"Just reboot once a month"
I am still puzzled by this kind of bugs. In a previous life, when I was
using MS-DOS or a Mac, I was already upset when I had to pull the plug.
Will super-artificial intelligence need also this kind of regular, stone
age operation?

Yeah, sounds like you reset it or something similar, not just rebooted
it. Just reboot once a month or so and it will help keep your network
in check and error free (or at least fewer errors/issues).

Rebooting router (simply unplug, wait 5 seconds, plug back in) should
not cause any harm. In fact it is a good and recommended maintenance
procedure everyone should be doing monthly.

No, and I prefer to avoid playing with my home connection.
Anyway, I have another internet radio (Avox) working fine on the same
wifi network (btw no difference if my squeezebox is connected by
ethernet to the modem). Also an iPad.
