Is "Smart Connect"known as anything else? I can't finst any mention of it in my router management menus Then again, there's no specic mention of WiFi6 - just 802.11ax. Having said everything worked last night - it then all stopped! I'll have the apartment to myself for a few hours

Asus "Smart Connect" seems to be a load management by the router to spread devices across 3 bands (2.4Ghz and 2 5Ghz) all sharing same SSID. IIRC Some user reported problems with some dual/tri band routers if 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks had same SSID. Wifi 6 (aka 802.11ax) compatible routers also
