AFAIR you can revert to the last firmware by switching off the radio and
hold the rewind button while switching on again.
If the last firmware was a SB one, youre happy. :)

I think some folks can hack using a remote LMS. I have no clue about
this (and it's not easy evidently).
Regarding seeing FAVORITES to edit. You're not in the LMS webGUI. In
your web browser, enter:
192.168.1.68:9000
but replace 192.168.1.68 with the actual IP address of PC running LMS.

About 6 years ago I gave my parents a Squeezebox Radio so that they can
listen to their favourite international stations. It worked great
