I recently held two AHH frames side by side. They had serial numbers
that differed by 2, and I believe both came from Toyo. They were very
similar in color, but not identical. One was ever-so-slightly darker
than the other, but I doubt I'd have been able to tell them apart at a
distance.

That was a Mark II Atlantis, it has the bowed chain stays to fit bigger
tyres.
The Mark 1s, had S shaped chain stays that reduced tire clearance,
also the head tube angle .5 degree steeper in the 61cm size.

The pink 50.6 with the 57 top tube that is now on clearance is a screaming
deal for the person that will fit it. If I were not hips deep in my own
venture I would be working pretty hard to figure out how to bring this into
the stable. This is the ideal long and low for somebody about 5'3,

It inadvertently presages the HS/Bosco/Mystery Bike, without the

I'm not sure what type of tubing it is. I don't know the ins and outs of
the tubing world, so I didn't think to ask for specifics. He assured me it
would be the good stuff.

it. To my fat-tire-enamored eye, they looked like razor blades. Like
you'd pump them to 140psi and they'd slice a groove into the pavement. Who
would ride such things?

Hanta virus, wild beasts, stabbing yourself in the hand while cutting summer
sausage, crashing your bike into a tree, lightning, tornados. Sometimes there

I had my old Kogswell P powdered by a regular old powder coater. My lugs
did not disappear at all. Maas does both powder and wet paint. Brent
Steelman used to use Maas for all his powder so I think they must do a way
better than average job. They do wet, but not sure about the quality of
that

like I said, depends on if you are picky or not. The lug lines don't go
away, they are just not as crisp with Powder coat. BTW, Steelman uses
Spectrum for his bikes frequently. ( according to hos website gallery).
I've had a few bikes done by Spectrum and the lug lines were not even
close

Maas Brothers only does powder coating.
My frame is lugged. I think that given the price of a Maas Brothers powder
coat, it's an exceptional value. I have several other bikes - including one
with an infamous Joe Bell paint job. I think the powder coated one comes
pretty close
