If you get one, I'd love to hear your impressions as I've been looking at
this bar too. As far as spreading out the controls, I assumed you could
mount the shifters on the forward extension, kind of like Jones did with
the early "H" bars before they became a full loop. That would probably
Eric, oh, the bar end shifters. Yes, I had them on my Betty Foy with Bosco Bars
and I wore the mark of them on my thighs many times. I had one particularly
tight corner near the school that would earn me a decent jab at least weekly.
The Betty was my first Rivbike and I didn’t realize I could

Just purchased my old SimpleOne back (thanks Miles!) and need a rear wheel
and/or wheelset.
120 spaced, fixed/free preferred, doesn't *need* to be fancy but I could
probably be talked into something nicer if the price is right.
Let's chat off list if you have something collecting dust!
Thanks

I have 10 cm one I'd probably sell. It was on my Sam Hillborne and has
lots of miles on it, but I am switching to the faceplate ecosystem. With
that said, it's going to be a PITA to disassemble.

Ben's is always good for some Nitto goods others may not have. Last one,
90mm quill, 100mm ext, 26.0 bar.

Hello, Anybody know the grip length on this particular multi-hand position
handlebar? Seems like more and more of the alt-handlebars don't have a long
grip length to spread out the grip, brake lever and thumb shifter
positions. Thanks.

Hello everyone.
I'm in the market for a Nitto Dirt Drop Stem to put on my new Miata 1000.
They seem to be pretty rare with the 26.0 clamp.

James, I also have the same pbh and saddle height and long arms. I traded
for an older 64 Atlantis (single tt) and thought it was a bit large for the
rough stuff I like to ride. Little to no standover clearance. Sold it but
did not seek out a 61. Moved to frames with 559 wheels. Steve

Have you considered an early AHH in 650B. The 650B AHH's were the Saluki,
according to all the RBW literature. The Waterford AHH frames were in 2cm
increments, so they may fit you better, if you can find them. Can not
remember when RBW changed the name from Saluki to AHH for the
The SH has the expanded geometry or whatever its referred to. It like all
modern Rivendells will have less standover on the smaller models because of
the sloping top tube.

I don’t trust listed standover height. I would ask owners to measure and
ask what tires they have on. My 51cm Hillborne is about 30.5 inches, a bit
over 75cm. My 54cm Saluki which is at the shop presently is about the
same. My 55cm Bleriot was about 31” standover. Of course these measurement
Does anyone live in Asheville, NC and have an old-model Atlantis I could
test ride, in either a 61cm or 64cm? I want to start a search to buy one
but it's hard to find conviction on what size I would prefer by simply
looking at charts online.
(I have a PBH of 91 and a saddle height of 81,
Agree on full size pumps versus minis but on my commuter it makes sense to
reduct the appealing things that attract pilfering. Oh yeah, weather too.
We have that here. I ran a pump behind the seat tube on my yellow '86

if a 49cm Bleriot would work, so will a 50 cm Saluki. Just hives you one
more option.
The 50 cm Rambouillet would also work (74.2 stand over) , but it has 559

I'm so glad we made that deal Joe!! I'm lucky to have had someone willing

It's crazy how good that bike looks with paint (I sold it with a raw
