Nice! Is that a custom-sized larger-than-61 Atlantis? I'm intrigued, because it looks like a 66 or so, but it looks (due to the lugs) like it comes from a period when even the 64's had to be special ordered. Any great photo, thanks!-Original Message-

In the fall, I waffled on whether I would do the Big Ben 50's on a blue Sam
Hillborne.
Well no more waffling. I do it! Photos kind of rushed, but I just wanted to
demonstrate the capability:

Be careful though. There has been at least one caseof the mini-front rack
failing when overloaded and sending the fast-moving rider over the bars and to
injury as the rack has hit the front wheel.
This is the mini-front rack that's for bikes without sidepull brakes where the
support post goes
Just put something like a John's Irish strap there, and no worries.

Regarding the bar height: when Mark builds the bike, he always cuts the brake
cables so that the bar can be at its max height. Then the user or owner can
always bring the bar lower. When freshly built Rivs are on display, they always
have the bar all the way out to show its max range. It's
David,
Don't rush it. Take it easy, and know that all of the easy-taking is exactly
what should happen. Work can wait! (5 years ago I had a minor concussion and
needed 3 weeks when I initially thought I only needed one or less.)
Rest well!
