can run mini-motos but maybe a bit extreme...).
Thanks.

I am thinking getting a full-size frame pump. I have a 59 cm Hilsen.
I am wondering if any frame pump would fit nicely & tightly on the rear
triangle (non drive side, on seat stay)?
(looking at pictures, it surely looks nice + I think my S couplers may
get in the way if placed on TT).

Berthoud fenders (at least the 50mm ones) have rolled edges that is the
perfect fit for a Schmidt co-ax cable. I've used large patches of electric
tape here and there to hold the wire in place, so far so good (make sure
you apply tape on clean fenders). Pierre.

the older-but-still-pretty-good model unless (i) you are time-

that is for Europe of course).

Plenty amblers cover more miles than I ever do; I top out at about 35, but I
ride them agressively. And there is nothing wrong with *that*, either.
It's

I will never forget my first century attempt, in 1973 wearing athletic
shoes (we called them sneakers in those days) with my Campagnolo
Record quill pedals. (I also wore shorts made from cut-off denim
trousers with briefs underneath, and did not wear gloves.)
I can still feel

Look, I like to ride fast, I spin and all that, but I know I can do
that just as well with traditional pedals and toe clips.

All I need to forget about weight and carbon is when I carve a line
through a curve on a descent. As long as my retro-looking bike keeps
doing that for me the same as it always has, I thrilled by it every
time. For me, that's IS the real world.
buying public can't resist the siren call of lighter
weight, don't know any better because they have never had familiarity
with high-quality steel frames, and because it's probably much cheaper
to build a good carbon frame in a factory nowadays than it is to build
a high-quality steel frame.
