I know many could not sleep until I shared my jacket opinion! :-)
I could not sleep spending that kind of money on a riv jacket- just my
nature. But...I would accept it as a gift from a family memberhint,
hint.
I actually really like the Brompton one, tried it on in a shop and loved
it.
With all the camping talk I wanted to share that I'm impressed with the Vargo
hexagon wood stove. Mine is TI but stainless is a great option as well. I
really like that you can use it as an esbit stove, drop an alcohol burner in
there and use twigs as well. It is light and packs small and
OK- I admit- I can be impulsive when purchasing bikes. Is that not normal
on the list, no? In any case, I have a bike I've had for over a month
and no miles on it. I actually put more miles on the bike at the shop
testing it-befor ordering mine.
In any case, I have a Medium Krampus for sale.

Second. I have a (much smaller) '85 with the original blackburn racks. Just
switched over the 700c wheels with 35s on there; love it.

The Shimano pods need to be altered slightly to work with other DT
shifters. The raised square section (which receives the square-hole spacer)
has a half-moon nub on one side that needs to be filed down before other
shifters will fit properly.
