Joe is probably right that Rivendell won't likely add disc brakes to a step through, but as a bike mechanic the thing I dislike the most about most step-through bikes is the rear brake cable routing. A "DISKY MIXTE" would eliminate those routing workarounds by running everything down the

Regarding the Sam/Atlantis question: I have both. The weight isn’t much different between the two but in my experience the feel and handling are quite dissimilar. The Sam has a lighter feel on the front. The Atlantis feels more “planted” and a bit stiffer overall. Tubing, geometry and wheel
