I'd like to add my 2 cents in on the S S addition. I had it done on
my Bleriot in 2005. It cost under $400 and included the cable
spliters and coupler wrench. To get that price I agreed to give frame
builder just the frame pre-prepped. That meant I had to strip the
paint at the places where

the color surprised both of us. I asked for an

I travelled to France in 2007 with my Rambo in a standard bike case and was

total cost of the trip was not a big deal. I think for a one time or once
every 5 years trip the cost of coupling is not worth it. If you

That's new. Historically you were able to check a bike as one of
your two allowed pieces of luggage on international flights at no
charge.

I had my Rambo retrofitted with SS couplers, as well as some braze-
ons installed, by Bilenky. Good service, great job, excellent paint
job and decals. The new color is Carmine and it looks great. I use
the couplers and cable connectors often as I carry the bike in the
trunk. Disassembly and

When you shipped the bike was this domestic or foreign travel and who
