Just received my touring canti's from Modernbike. I felt compelled to say
how impressed I was with their packaging. It may be a small thing, but it
was packed as if the brakes were made of porcelain! Shipping was speedy and
well priced. Very good experience purchasing from them. Now if only my
If it's an option that works for you, Paul sells direct, and ships to

PaulComp.com will sell them direct and ship to Canada, suspect even with
customs it will be cheaper than $400.

I stand corrected, Ebay $80 front or back, but you can find black, silver
polished and silver anodized. And some with free shipping. Niagra Cycle
$77, but they don't have all colors.

For *one* brake, not a pair. I can't think of any retailer other than Riv
that sells Pauls in sets, and Riv only sells the centerpulls.

That's pretty cheap for new; eBay prices for the same new brakes start
going to have to add to this, because I don't want to leave out Rivendell -
their service is simply the best - send them an e-mail question and find
out. Not a gripe, because I just spent $100 there out of my $1000 project
on great stuff where they were untouchable - they have all great stuff
hard shopping. Everything I could wait for I ordered from Outside
Outfitters - they take forever because they receive, repackage then ship.
Everything Paul came from Modern Bike. I had orders from Jensen, Joe
Aherne, Bens, Bike Tires Direct, Velo Fred, and actually I'm still waiting

oh yeah, and my wheels came from Velomine
