I have to admit, I did a double take on the Pliny the Younger. The bikes are
nice too. But man, I think its time for a beer ride to share that growler w/
the group ;) Please tell me there isn't a bottle or three of Pappy hidden in

Yes it is a great Trio and all setup to make for a distinct ride.
Allows me to do anything I want really.
I have the orange Cheviot.

Ah ha!...it is. 48cm Orange canti post and it currently has a set of Rich
built wheels with Velocity Dyad and Phil Rivy hubs with a 7 speed
freewheel...using some Ultegra 6500 components with silver bar end friction
shifting. I will let you know if I decide to sell...I've been seriously
Clayton your trio has stuck in my head overnight... seems like an awesome
combo and one which should really enable an amazingly wide variety of
riding while at the same time providing a distinct ride experience on each
of the three.
My trio of Saluki/Bomba/XO-3 offers an extremely wide variety of
RJM if that hillborne is a orange canti version and you decide to sell I'd love
to talk. My dream stable might be a fat tired cantiborne and my current one! I
love the hillbornes!

59cm Riv custom. Homer with centerpull brakes kinda deal. Frame by Mark
Nobillet and painted by Joe Bell.
55cm TIG weld standard tubing low trial 650B internal gear commuter. Paul
crank and cantilever. Nitto everything else.
57.5 1993 Bridgestone RB-1. Patinated big

Tweaking this thread: I see most responders have quite large collections.
My own ownership predilection is for a few and those just right; this based
on a sort of perfectionist obsession that has led me into spending
excessive amounts trying to perfect bikes that couldn't be perfected
w/relation
