Just curious if anyone has snuck a 38, like a Gravel King, in their Roadini? I
was debating setting up a second wheel set for mine and having a roadie/gravel
setup.

I disagree with Ash completely. Looks awkward, That big red rear wheel looks
ridiculous and clown 嵐 like. I am sure this bike will not last long before you
are off on your next hair brained
e-modification project. Also no demand for 26” e-wheels so you will need to
take a big loss when you

Thanks Ash! It's kind of crazy how well it's come together almost by accident.
This started as a 26" e-wheel I bought for a recumbent, then I decided that it
(bents) just weren't going to work out for me. So I posted a WTB here for a
45cm Clem and got nothing, but an All Rounder popped up so I
I just came into possession of a Lynskey Single Speed Roadie. It has an Alpha
Q plastic fork with far too short of a steerer. If anyone has a Carbonomas or
similar fork in 1 1/8" threadless let me know before I go wandering the
interwebs.

I’m running 42mm gravel kin sk tires on my 60cm cheviot, tektro sidepulls.
Has anyone fit a 48 or 50mm tire on theirs? looking at the 50mm cazadero.

I have one I bought used on the list and never used. Will need to check if it
is threadless or threaded. Honestly don’t know.
Send me a DM and I will send pictures you can make me an offer if interested;
it is of no use to me.

A set of 38mm Panaracer Paselas on Velocity A23 rims cleared the frame but
I had issues with standard caliper brakes on the front. Due to the
geometries involved and how the brake mounting bolt goes through both
caliper arms, the tire has clearance at the fork but hits the brake on the
front

Update, yours for whatever shipping will be. I still have the nice snazzy box
my S83 came in from Riv so now I have this post and this box on the table just
sitting there I mean what is even the point of THAT?

Actually Joe your vision has been brilliant. Any Rivendell makes a great
Copenhagen wheel pedal assist conversion for the following reasons. They are
beautiful and well designed bikes by Grant and company that perform
masterfully. They all (other than the Hubbuhubbuh) are rim brake only as
I had Schwalbe Big Bens 700x50 on my 60cm Cheviot with fenders, albeit
jury-rigged in the rear. The bike was super comfortable:

I echo other people's recommendation to run a Dos Eno or a Surly Dingle
cog. I have two rings and a Dingle cog on my Quickbeam, giving a one tooth
difference in the two gears. 39/44 x 17/21. I have fenders on the bike, so
it's nice to not worry about fender line anymore, or trying to flip the

This was an emotional purchase, an exciting and fun experience building and
riding it, but the reality is that I haven’t anyone to ride it regularly
and it’s just sitting in my garage taking space.
Price includes local pickup or delivery combination, and I’m throwing in
the Thule tandem roof bike
Remember that Roadinis have wonderfully comfortable, flexible forks that
make them pretty exceptional gravel bikes for what they are... but that
also means that you may want to stick closer to the advertised clearance
(28 with/35 without fenders, remember) if you're heavy enough to really put

That's a red hot tandem! and deal. You cut that housing length around the seat
tube perfectly! Mine was a little long, I just removed it in favor of running
housing under the stoker's top tube (as my stoker at 8 can't reach the pedals
yet, next summer), that way the stoker's feet don't rest on
This is a perfect example of why this model didn't sell well. We're Riv Riders,
we ALWAYS want more tire clearance!

I have a pair (actually may have 3) Panaracer Gravel King in 650B x 48. also
have some Big Bens in 650B x 48 if those are of interest. Not sure if the are
the raceguard version but will check. Schwalbe tires do run smaller than spec.
Also might have a Marks rack but need to dig around for it.
Oh right, there's my Roadini! Awesome bike, I'm glad you're getting so much use
