I recently made the swich to Albatross bars from Noodles. For me this was
a big improvement in the comfort category; meaning better endurance, and
therefore, going a more consistant pace. Not only did the Albatross improve
steering and leverage, but the rounded part up front is perfect
My commute takes exactly the same time (50-55 minutes) an Albas as it did
when I was on drops. At almost an hour for ~12 miles, my speed is
determined more by how hit traffic lights and similar obstacles than by
actual biking speed.
