Finally made it back home from my recent trip where I experienced shut down
limitations to riding. Got home and and able to load some pics:

Deac I love you man, but altering your diet in the middle of the road is
less than effective. Stopping to drink water is easy - even smart.

I'm not sure what exactly you're responding to Ron, since the quoted text
below isn't mine. For me, eliminating grains, veggie oils, sugar, and
processed food mid-road in my late 30's was highly effective. I dropped
nearly 100 pounds, have greater brain energy, and numerous other
improvements.
my only point remains - if your knee is hurting in a ride, stop and hydrate

That's a dumb fix in the middle of a bike path! I should think that the
government department responsible for it would be liable to a claim for
damages. After all, it *is* a bike path.
I got my *rear* wheel into the gap between sections of a cattle grid one
afternoon 20 years ago, at speed, and
I agree, as a short term solution, well worth trying.

I also complained to the City Parks Department by e-mail today.

Andy,
Thanks for the ride report I especially enjoyed the geologic description of
the area and I thought the views look pretty fantastic completely different

You appeared to be husband and wife, riding along Roseville Parkway (I

Agree with Hugh... love the geologic explanations, and it's always cool to
see different places... especially if people are getting out on bikes.

blog but has since moved on to other interests. I'm pretty sure that his wife
has a blue Betty and he has some model of orange riv with m-bars. Nice people,

Jeremy did a great job setting this up. We started off with some great
coffee and roll up our way towards the dirt.
The dirt was loose and fast. Made for smiles and laughs. Great to find new
routes around the east bay.
Pictures proved that dirt is always a good option.
Hi Patrick,
Good to know I am asking about Shutter Precision (SP) dynamos on another
thread. I am OK with buzz. I am not OK with shimmy.
