You can ship the bikes on Amtrak and they charge about $5 a day storage. I
shipped my bike to Seattle flew up and picked it up at the Amtrak station.

Fathers and daughters ... sigh. You are a lucky man.
Mine turned 13 a month ago and, despite that, is doing pretty well. She is
winding up 3 weeks with family friends (well, friends of her mother) at
their cabin in the Minnesota lake country, and last week she called and
left a sweet message
What an adventure. Exposure to fun like this at a young age is wonderful
to help them grown up with a sense of curiousity about the world.
