There is a way to get some non-polished silver action on just about any
Velocity rim, but you'll have to ask them. As a shop owner, I've asked to
have rims left with their "mill finish" which, while not true ano, has a
very classy look in it's own right. I have some raw Atlas rims on

I would like to hear your fit experience with the new geometry.

a. 48 Hunqapillar (Ahearn Map handlebar with 12cm stem)
I've worn out a set of each. Both are great. There is no wrong choice here.

I've both used and not-used them. Problems I've had when not-using:
1) Pads run in to fork blades, because the caliper is nearer the fork.
2) Threaded rod that bolts the caliper to the fork crown sticks out extra
in the back. That's more of a problem

covered end to end with goathead plants, and walking out with uncounted
thorns in both tires. After patching some 15 holes in the first tube, I

Rivendell did promote it as a road oriented frame mainly by the top tube
length. Yes with Choco-Moose bars or pronounced swept-back bars the top
tube length may not work for you.
