If you mean that your ordered the VO metal clips, I'd suggest just using

Steve is correct - that’s what PDW described to me. So maybe not an actual
breakaway, but a design work-around. I’m not sure a mechanic would know what I
meant, so I’ll bring the PDW breakaways when I have the fenders installed.

Are metal R clips "break away"? Those I've used seem to hold the struts

Now, I do think that *plastic* R clips release easily; but metal? Can

Sheesh. That's what I forgot. The other side. They strap to the rack John,
just like a saddlebag straps to the loops. They're both the same size. The

The used ones have my dirty sheets stuffed into them. They are made for

I just swapped out a "8 cm" Nitto Pearl for a "8 cm" Nitto Technomic

The Dynamic is sort of a lower-budget Pearl in that it's a road stem with a
shorter usable length in the quill than a Technomic. It's not a direct
replacement, though. The extension has a wider profile that thickens as it
approaches the clamp, which is in turn about 5mm thicker on each side

How do they attach to the rack?? Clips on top and an elastic strap to the
