Oh, a big difference cuz I think my 54.2 frame correlates to the 55 Rosco/Platys is they use 700c, I have 650b. That's the thing I'd change if I was designing my bike now, I think those big hoops on the Platy look amazing and I kinda wish I had them. Although it would make it even longer and

Sweet bike Joe. Great color and design choice. I'm curious, how do you think this bike differs from the Rosco Platty, aside from big welds vs lugs? On Sunday, September 18, 2022 at 2:52:37 PM UTC-4 Paul in Dallas wrote: > Very very nice Joe! > > It's great to have a forum to share pics of

I can't speak to biking or bike shops in Savannah...but I can't recommend highly enough Vinny Van Go Go's for pizza. I was in Savannah in 2014 for a wedding and I still think about the to-go slice I got there. So good. Ben On Sunday, September 18, 2022 at 4:25:37 PM UTC-5 eric...@gmail.com

My daughter attended SCAD so have been there a bunch. We simply love Savanah. One of the best walking cities around - live the squares. I find it a wonderful city to ride in as well. Tybee Island has a fantastic beach. Many great eating spots. Perry Rubber is a great shop but mostly due to

You could always go with a 64 Clem, although it wouldn't fit your spouse. I think they have similarly lo00ng front end to the baby rosco. Noticed there's one for sale for $875+ shipping a few posts down. I don't think you could go wrong with that as a backup! On Saturday, September 17, 2022

Caveat, I am not a very good bike mechanic & I grew up using friction shifting. My Clem came to me with the Microshift thumb shifters. The front shifter of course is friction only. The rear came set up to index (9 speed) and it has been fine. Better than fine really, but just a little bit

Good stuff Collin. I agree, packrafting is great! I haven't had the opportunity to do in some years and my setup was never as svelte as yours appears to be, but I didn't mind that. It was easier living out west where there were far less damns to contend with or maybe better said that distance

Sort-of Ride Report Most of my rides during the pandemic were the same couple of loops around the American river in Sacramento, which does have some great trails and some not-so-legal singletrack, but gets old if that's all you are doing. I wasn't often able to (or unwilling) to make the 90
