I've been admiring Rivendell's website and the various Flickr pages
associated with it for a few years now. This year looks like I should
finally be able to buy one. I have a few bikes now that I have set up as
near a Rivendell as I can, but they're just not what I'm looking for

I have a Nitto Technomic stem, 26mm clamp. 225mm quill length. Only 50mm
reach. Great alternative to a Dirt Drop if you need something high and
tight.
Also, a Nitto Moustache bar. I will have to check when I get home if it's
25.4mm or 26mm clamp area. I bought it locally and don't remember.

riding in them, is the shoes to match. I know the Shimano SPD pedals are
2-bolt, so I can avoid the super-stiff, carbon-soled road shoes, praise the
Lord, but I'm comfortable investing a little bit in a decent set so they

Found another spacer and nut for that R559 if anyone wants it!
Also, feel free to send me what you think is a fair price for those power
shifters. I originally go them for a vintage rebuild, but when the old
derailleurs broke (Because they were plastic!) I opted to turn it into a
single-speed.
R559 is sold along with the nut and spacer.
Shimano Front Derailleur is also sold.
Old school Suntour Power Shifters for exhilarating stem-mounted shifting -

Another possibility: I am using some old Suntour stem-mounted shifters. Is
it possible they aren't able to pull enough cable to get the derailleur out
where it needs to go? If I traded them out for newer shifters could that
make a difference? I don't plan on holding on to this bike for long, so

1. SR Apex Triple Crankset. Square Taper. 170mm arms, 30-44-48 rings. Good
shape. Great touring triple. Been on a few of my bikes over the years, but
I'd be amazed if there's over 1,000 miles on it. Only used for commuting,

Hardrock I'm working on and right now it has a 124 on it now, but the front
derailleur can't reach the outer ring. I've adjusted the screws on the

Trying to finalize my Schwinn Voyageur. I have Albatross bars on it now,
but I miss the On One bars I used to ride on my last bike. The reason I
don't have them now is that I didn't have a stem to get them high enough,
