What's your PBH? I have a friend who's just starting to look and is tempted
by new, etc. but is looking to me for guidance.
His PBH is 86.
What do you think?
Thanks.

Thanks Erl.
My favorite wandering bike which carries my camera and just happens to be
nice to look at.
Since this picture I’ve wrapped and shellacked the bar and removed the rear
rack in anticipation of a VO randonneur rack.

Thanks for the tip Clayton. I also wear a medium and notice if you specify
a tall-which I’m not but a little extra shirt tail can be okay-there are
shirts available.

Hi Mike,
I'll take the Nitto Tech Deluxe 11cm 25.4 clamp and the Nitto Dynamic 626
seat post if they're still available.
Regards.

Sorry to hear of your news.
In light of your nice bikes I would suggest a stem adapter like the VO. You
can attach a stem with removable faceplate to it and it's silver so with a
little tape it doesn't look too bad.

While waiting for the Nitto randonneur bar I ordered from my LBS to arrive-
one of thre options I’m considering for my new Homer build- I stopped by
the bike coop and found this bar:

It’s labelled GB and British Made.
derailers: I'm
running an 8 speed cassette with cool old Shimano Deer Head derailer. I was
skeptical, but my friend from LBS said to go for it and, much to my
surprise, it works great.

Hi David, I'm using a Sugino triple, 8-speed cassette, and moved my Silver

Great. Just back from a ride on my MB-5 with VO hammered fenders to find
tracking says my Homer frameset arrives tomorrow. The ice is till along the
Friendship Trail but a beautiful day.
Now to start putting the pieces of the new bike together.

I’ve also spent many hundreds of dollars (at least) on Bridgestones,
Univegas, Miyatas and hybrid Bianchis not buying a Rivendell. I’ve been *almost

I finally decided to take the plunge and am picking up a new 56cm 650B H.
Homer Hilsen frame set.
I'm interested in four if and when available.
Thanks.
