I use a Jones bar on my Pugsley and a H-bar (designed by Jeff) on my Big
Dummy. Both are fantastic. Jeff is really good at responding to questions

I have a pair of black *DZR* Jetlag Nero bike shoes, size 39 (EU), slip on
(with a top strap to make it tighter). They're very nice looking,
comfortable, and you can use them with or without cleats (2 hole). Only
worn twice, clean, in excellent condition.. Just not a fan of
black.
Wow! After all my life in either clips or cleats, childhood excepted, I've
got an order in for Thin Gripsters. They'll be here Thurs., install and
begin a new era on my bike(s). Already changed to: higher bars, thicker
tires, racks and fenders, and a Brooks. Oh, it's a Sam!
On Tuesday,
Plus on the GB Cypress. Have had them on over 8 months; street and dirt,
even a little gravel. *Really nice!*

I have WTB Speed TCS Cross country rims; 26. The specs say rim size is
559X19C. How do I convert this to know how small of tire, that is in width,
will fit on this rim? Currently I have 1.75 tires but want to go smaller.

I have a Salsa Vaya which I'd like to make more Riv'ish as my daughter
plans to take it on a 2 month tour and wants upright bars. Currently is has
drops with Sram Apex derailleurs and brifters. Can I convert to thumb
shifters with a new handlebar? Of course I'd need new brake levers too.

So the SunRace thumb shifters Rivendell sells should be compatible?

Well, I have a Sam Hillborne with friction, 9 speed. I do get some ghost
shifts occasionally, but not a big deal. The major goal is getting an
upright handlebar without having to spend a lot of money; changing
derailleurs, cassettes etc.

Looking to stealth camp. Never been there before. I'll be entering the park
from Casa Via which then gives me the choice of Corral Trail or Diablo
Briones Trail. Which one to take for a good campsite? Do you have further
trail names to direct me after that? Thanks in advance.
