dodgy knees and 70+ years it's 18-19 tooth WI ENO and 36 tooth front on an

Hilsen has a little more zip, it seems to me - I'd say if you're absolutely
sure about pavement-only, try for that. But the Joe is not a slow bike

I am another vote to pick up a Jones on sale! I prefer the SWB for most of

others I used were right at 2”. So I can’t really say if wider helps. I can

Funny enough, I seem to get more odd looks on my Tanglefoot Hardtack than I
did on my old Susie. Something about high drop bars and a basket rack
really seems to confuse people. I did have a few “cruiser bike” comments
with the Susie though. Doesn’t phase me at all. I get a lot of questions
