Don’t do it. I used to work on a college campus and the reality is, bikes are stolen like crazy, campuses are targeted by bike thieves, college kids are busy and forgetful and all it takes is one careless lockup and it’s (or parts of it’s) gone. I don’t believe there’s any way to keep a nice bike

I have a 1up also and have experienced interference with the fenders and the front rack/basket. I’m not sure any ideal combo of rack exists if you have these things on your bike. I certainly tried to find a solution that keeps the bike off the roof, and keeps bikes from rubbing/banging together.

No I don’t. I have the 2” heavy duty double with two single add ons. I also
have a minivan. So in the rare occasion the van is full and I can’t put two
bikes inside I need all four trays. In that case I put on the double onto the
car and then mount each add on separately.

I love my 1-Up but it weighs so much. I have two add-ons so we can carry four
bikes, and I absolutely can’t keep it all assembled all the time...too heavy
