I moved away from Berlin almost 10 years ago now and so I'm sure there will lots of new, interesting places. But it looks like Cicli Berlinetta is still around. Not super BOBish, but worth a visit for their vintage road and track bikes. They both sell vintage bikes and also build their

Hi everyone: This is my first post in the group -- some of you may recognize my name from the iBOB or 650B lists, though. I am not yet an RBW Owner. But I am in the market for a tandem, and the HHH seems like a wonderful option. The only major concern I have: Will I be able to set it up with

Just as a PSA: If you buy multiple Hail Mary credits, you will get a whole bunch of emails with individual redemption codes for each $10 credit. Had I realized that, I'd have bought a single gift card instead -- I had assumed that the credit would somehow be applied to my account directly. Oh

I'll be curious to hear how they compare with Tektro CR-720s. I'm reasonably happy with mine, but the Diacompes are certainly prettier and also shave off a bit of weight. And people have complained that the Tektro has too much flex/play. Harald in Madison (WI) On Wednesday, August 22, 2018

Last spring I rode part of the 600k route in cyclotouriste mode over several days. And yeah, there were many times when I was thinking, "And there are people who can ride all this in 40 hours???" It's a really beautiful route, though, and I can highly recommend it for a bike touring trip. Just

I'd be cautious about relying on Google Maps in Europe. Their data quality is much worse than it is in the US. OpenStreetMap, on the other hand, is generally much better. So you could use something like OpenRouteService to plot a route (note that there is a limit in how long a route you can

There's a great German website that has routes that are much more direct than the typical tourist routes, but still have a focus on low traffic, minimizing hills, and a pleasant bike experience. For Americans (and Germans alike), the route presentation will take a lot of getting used to -- he
