One thing I learned years ago, in order to best lose weight through
cycling, is that riding a short distance everyday is very effective...as
long as it doesn't require any additional eating.
So...

Agree with above posters...the Riv shopping experience is quite intuitive

As for inventory issues, I think anyone who goes to Rivendell for their

It looks like I'm going to have my aortic heart valve replaced later this
summer. (I'm 65.)
Has anyone here had that procedure? If so, were you able to continue
cycling? And, did you choose a bio (pig) or artificial valve?
Thanks in advance.

My 54 San Marcos is the best handling bike I've ever owned.
I wish Riv would make that frame with a few more Riv touches...a little
more tire clearance, a nicer bend to the fork, maybe "softer" frame tubing

I've been thinking about ordering a Riv custom. I love my Soma San Marcos.
The San Marco is by far the best fitting, best handling bike I've ever

Question for the RBW brain trust...
If you were going to buy a vehicle for the primary purpose of transporting
a bike -- and I'm only talking about carrying one bike -- what would it be?
Guidelines: Under 40Gs, and preferably with the bike carried and lockable
inside the vehicle.
Thanks!

Excuse my ignorance...
Do cantilever and centerpull brakes use the same frame mounts? Or does a
