If offroad just means trails, you probably won't need to make any
changes, and metal fenders will do just fine. Prepare for lots and

(someone had asked). I think I will change out my Hetres for fatty
rumpkins and leave my bags at home - that should be good enough for a

I have Planet Bike 60s on my Big Apple shod Monocog 29er, and there is no
problem except shake thanks to flimsy stays. No rattling, either, but then
the Monocog has huge clearances even with 60 mm tires and fenders. I'd say
you will be fine as long as you have, say, a cm between fender and tire.
