The track would twist under the first roadwheel and get pushed off. Could be an
issue with tension like you said. Wired the batteries in series for 24v and
speed is so much better. I tightened the tracks a bit more and it seems the
combination of speed + tension is keeping the tracks on better.
Yeah! Loads of torque. Traction is good too. Had no trouble climbing some very
steep, dirt grades. I'm pretty happy. Only real issue is zero turns in thick

don't have excessive rpms like a lot of brushless motors, and they have loads
of torque. Two of these are going to be utilized in project Duece Duece.
Just curious, when will the scores from the last event be up?

The Quarter Pounder had a little marker trouble too. At the start of the
second Zombie battle the marker wouldn't fire when I pulled the trigger.
Turns out I forgot to cock the bolt. Worked well the rest of the day,
especially after the last battle of the day which Steve can attest to. ;-)
They do look interesting, and the price is right. Maybe I'll pick some up for
testing. What would be the best way to reduce the rpms? As big as a reduction
as I can get between the motor and drive shaft, or a transmission like those
used for EV Warriors?

I've been thinking, and I think the Locust will be my starter tank. I will be
interesting fitting everything inside, especially in that small turret! I enjoy
challenges though, so I'm looking forward to it. :-)

The Abrams is a cool tank. :) Would be neat to see one romping around like the
real thing. (Plus the Quarter Pounder always needs more targets) ;-)
Anyway, what is the approximate price that M01's usually sell for. I've seen
them on EBay for $60 with free shipping.
