you compiling your own kernel, or using one Red Hat compiled? From
what I remember reading, the 2.4.x kernels from Red Hat have IDE support
as modules, so you will need an inital RAM disk with the correct modules
to go along with the kernel. Loadlin will support this.

I would agree. I've had zero compiler problems. Zero. In fact, I'd say
from where I sit 7.0 is very solid. I'd also say most of the hysteria
is by those that have never installed 7.0, or installed it, found some
problem with it, and their solution was to uninstall rather sort it

After a 'make mrproper' I did a 'make dep clean bzImage' and then a
'make modules' and a 'make modules_install' after moving the former
/lib/modules/(directory) out by renaming it.

in make xconfig or menuconfig..

.netscape directory, it LOOKS like I edited the *.js files
and removed the locale lines.
Try that and see if it helps. If it doesn't help, you can
always go back to the "~" versions. :-)

I've been using either OpenSSH or SSH 1.2.27. Versions of SSH beyond
1.2.27 cannot be used for commercial
