Anybody here familiar with these radios? I have someone offering to
sell me some new ones very nicely priced. I thought they might make
for a small repeater since they have the connections on the back like
the motorola radios. Or could use stand alone. Still have to find a
programming cable or

Now for the particulars, I would like to find a set
that are crystalled for as near the 2 meter band as
possible, originally (high 140's or low 150's)if

The Back Up battery for the Azden PCS-4000 is a sealed Ni-Cd 50 mAh 3.6
volt. When replacing same, a 'Method of initial charge procedure' is required. I

No. Didn't know of anyone who had the problem either, but my experence is short.I only have played with the 50w mitreks and I know I can run them full tilt and have no in-radio de-sense. That being said, I like to run them at 1/2 power, will play fine even if the fans fail for some reason,
