The power output is from the a sticker on the front of the transmitter with a
hand-written 78 in the watts blank.
The repeater is currently in the 455 range and we have been coordinated the
442.225T/447.225T pair.
As guessed, I am located in Columbus, Indiana (about 40 miles south of Indy).
Thanks for the help, Josh!
I've saved this email to reference when the time comes to do the work. From
what I've seen, there are at least five different documents out on the web
concerning the retuning of Micor's into the ham bands, but they all start with
assumptions of a well-stocked test
I'm about 30 minutes north of Dayton - about 3 hours from you, if it comes down
to it, you're welcome to come over here, I've got the tools on the bench and a
few micor's laying around :)
... if i ever get this one done lol :)

Sorry for the confusion, must have had repeater on the brain. I did not
mean repeater. I would like to
setup a beacon on the lower part of 6 meters around 50.060 cw only.
Thanks,

Sorry to hear you got the proverbial shaft. But all's not lost. If you
need a duplexer, I'll trade you a Motorola T1504 (pass/reject) duplexer in
good shape that I had on my table at Dayton that didn't sell. I was asking
$125 for it. I'll trade you straight across if you pick up shipping in
Jeff,
Can you positively identify the window filters by part number? Also, what
is the useful frequency range of the units you purchased?

For the proposed use, you just need the PTT connection, and an IDer with
a logic output (or just condition the audio out into a keying signal)

I think the old SCOM 5k controllers had beacon mode.
If you want mo power you may consider a Syntor X, could probably run it
at 150 watts.
Do a google search for beacon controller, brings up several.

I did one a year or two ago, do not key the PTT as it will have a very nasty
output. I did the manual power control mod to control the output power and
then broke the B+ line to the second driver in the power amp section, key it
with a relay and it will work fairly well.

Have you tried to sign in to the Yahoo site and go to My Groups and unsubscribe
from it. Should be real easy. You can even get there, indirectly, by clicking

I've seen lots of groups die like that when the owner abandons it, but you
can go to Yahoogroups and do a search for one of similar interest.

Just buy a unidirectional repeater cable from Kawamall on ebay for ten bucks
or so. Make sure pin 8?? of both radios is set to active low, they usually are
and use 2 antennas.
Plug it in and send me a hundred bucks for the info. (-:

Hi
yes I use a pair of 50Mhz maxtracs as a rptr and all in/oututs are
via the 16w acc socket. Yes the firmware will not allow the rss
to control the tx pwr out so a little cut and and a pot to the 9.6v
line allows manual pwr control
